Director’s Message Dear Summit Families & Friends, SUMMER HAS ARRIVED and WAY TO GO 8TH GRADE! As sad as we are to see everyone depart for vacations and new schools, we are so proud and pleased with the progress our Summit students have made this past school year. Class of 2009, we wish you the very best and hope that you all will visit us often. Although the kids are away, Summit will remain open this summer. Our office hours will be held from 9:00am to 2:00 Monday – Thursday. If there is anything we can do to help you during the vacation, do not hesitate to call or stop in to see us. Also, be on the lookout for a few summer mailings. EOG scores, newsletters, calendars, schedules, and more will be arriving in the mail over the next couple of months. Finally, in all of my years of education, I cannot remember a school year as exciting and as rewarding as this past one. You all are a wonderful school family and I thank you for the many valuable contributions you have made to Summit Charter School. I wish you all a safe and enjoyable summer, and I cannot wait to see you again in August. Take care and have a great summer! Dr. Jack Talmadge Summit Honor Students Recognized
