2008 Summit Charter School Photo Contest

Photo Contest Details

The contest is open to Summit students in grades K-8 and will feature a winning entry each quarter. Students must print out, sign, and return the Contest Rules and Entry Agreement, available in PDF and HTML versions, when submitting their entry. Failure to submit this form will invalidate the contest entry.

Entries are limited to 3 photos per student per school year. Photos may be entered in one of two categories described below.

Categories

Natural photos are those that involve everyday situations. Any spontaneous event is considered natural.

Contrived photos are those that are set up and represent non-spontaneous events.

Judging

At the close of each quarter, a panel of judges will select one winner from all entries. The winner will receive a digital camera. At the end of the school year a grand prize winner will be selected from all of the winning entries. The grand prize winner will win a new laptop! Please read the complete contest rules on the entry form before signing and returning it with your entry. Failure to abide by all rules will result in disqualification.

Entry Period

Entries are welcome anytime beginning March 4 and up to the May 15 deadline. Early entries are encouraged.
